My name is Heather, and Welcome to Aisling Addiction Services Ltd.
As an Honours Graduate of Reeves College Addictions and Community Support Worker program, and a current Bachelor of Psychology Student at Athabasca University, I am adept at working within the Addictions and
At-Risk fields. I have also completed my initial courses in Equine Facilitated Wellness. I have a strong passion for living in recovery and am the Chair for the Recovery Day Calgary Planning Committee. I have almost 5 years of lived experience of Recovery through building resilience, sharing experiences, and fostering community.
I also hold a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of Alberta and am a senior professional with over 23 years of demonstrated success in progressive leadership roles that include the construction, manufacturing, utilities and financial sectors. The last portion of my safety career saw me focus exclusively on HSE senior roles that span the planning and execution of HSE policies across corporate and field locations, both locally and internationally.
I am a result driven professional with excellent analytical skills, management expertise and interpersonal skills. A natural communicator with a dynamic personality and presence, I am a direct, take charge individual who quickly assesses a situation, institutes processes and procedures. My ability to influence people and effect change is key to the recovery programming that I offer.
